Choosing the right music for your wedding.

Most weddings traditionally include several musical offerings. Some couples will include only a few musical choices in their ceremonies, others may decide to have several. The most commonly accompanied events are listed below with popular musical selections for each. You are by no means limited to this list so please contact us if you have a special request and we will do our best to accomodate you. If you have a singer or perhaps a special reading that you would like accompanied we are happy to do so.

Recessional

Joyous music for you to make your exit by and to set the mood for the festivities to come.

Wedding March - Mendelssohn

Ode to Joy - Beethoven

Trumpet Tune - Purcell

Rondeau - Mouret

Processional

The processional usually includes the seating of mothers and grandmothers, the entrance of the bridal party and of course the entrance of the bride. This can be one piece or several. Take into consideration the length of the aisle and the size of your bridal party when deciding how many selections you would like to use. Too many snippets of too many pieces won't have a smooth flow. The solution for a short aisle or small parties might be to use one piece for the mothers, grandmothers and the bridal party and another for the entrance of the bride.

Air on the G String - J.S. Bach

Sheep May Safely Graze - J.S. Bach

Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring - J.S. Bach

Trumpet Voluntary - Clarke

Rondeau - Mouret

Cannon - Pachelbel

Bridal Chorus - Wagner
